on tap @ redlight redlight for sourfest. Sour fruit upfront with sharp citrus acidity, balanced by oak with some vanilla notes. Slightly more acidic than other vintages I’ve had with some acetic notes as well, but not too much. I love BFM.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Kristall-König (1859) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - MAY 26, 2011
Antrunk keineswegs brachial sauer, sondern fein säuerlich.

Bottle shared during AZRBWG. Pour is deep hazy red/amber with no head. Aroma shows tons of lactic tartness with notes of berries, oak, and vinegar. Flavor shows the same with a definate vinous character as well as toasted oak and a touch of funk. Overall body is moderate and the acidity is sharp.
