Clear medium amber red color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, berry, berry acidic, wood, vinegar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, moderate acidic and acetic with a long duration, berry, tart, vinegar, a dry dry and tart finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish fel is light alcoholic. [20100611]

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of alcohol and malt . The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, and alcohol, leading to dry finish.

75 cL bottle at Moeder Lambic. Pours cloudy dark orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is astringent chemical, cherry and barnyard. Smooth fruity and nice lacto level. Dry and acidic finish. Smooth and slight chemical fruity to wooden notes. Dry finish.

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sour wood, some spices, quite acidic as well. Flavour is acidic wood, some herbs, mild alcohol as well as some grassy notes. Mild fruityness as well. Also a slight interesting very sweet peak in the middle of the sour/tart/acidic notes.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy copper colour, minimal head. Restrained citric tartness in the nose, but the acidity gets more pungent as it goes. Dryish and surprisingly light for an 11% beer. Citric, woody and funky. Oaky and intense. Another great BFM beer, yet not my favourite from them.

Cloudy dark amber color (although the bottle rested one year with no shaking); the low carbonation allows for a small head. The aroma is mild, more harmonious than the ASBC 2007 tasted side-to-side, with some gentle sourness, wood, nice red fruits (even some raspberries), and a light dusty character. The body is quite lean; the mouthfeel is soft and quite dry; there is a good blend of caramel, tart character, lemony accents, light vinous touch; the acidity is well controlled too, and the alcohol is not evident. Excellent.

(750ml bottle, courtesy of BMan1113VR) Pours a hazy orange-brown body with a spare white head. Aroma of earth, vinous, herbs, some yogurt, and grass. Flavor of earth, vinous, berries, raisins, and grass with a dry oak finish.
