Oklar röd/brun i färgen med litet vitt skum. Doftar sur-söt, mogna körsbär, lite funky, vinöst, karamell. Smakar härligt sur-sött, vinöst, funky, körsbär, röda bär, vinäger. Fantastiskt.

A dark amber to brown color with a white head. The aroma contains some cherries, brandy, and vinegar. The flavor isn’t too sour with a malt presence but you get cherries, a hint of citrus, and some spices. The finish is also sour. Overall a good beer.

From the diamond. Brownish pour, sour fruit aroma and some some sour nalts. Pretty good.

375ml bottle. Poured a cloudy orangish color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of cherries, some lighter vinegar, wood, vinous, and fruity. Tastes of vinegar, tart cherries, wood, berries, and vanilla. Light to medium tart finish.

Tap. Poured a clear orange color with an average frothy brown head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy dark sour fruit and wood alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth dry texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid complex brew.

On tap during the 43 Hours of Dark at The Birch, Norfolk, VA. Reddish-brown pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of sour cherry, apple cider vinegar, and oak. Beautiful sour taste of tart cherry and oak. Hard to believe this is an 11.2% ABV beer as the alcohol is not detected. An awesome sour.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a murky brownish-orange with hardly any carbonation or lacing. Smells good; sweet and funky. Tastes like it smells, but less balanced. Average (at best) on the palate. Another flatty from BFM.

On tap. Hazy darker red / brown color. Minimal bubbly white head, some dots of lace. Awesome tart nose - wood and fermented fruit. Pretty much totally flat. Medium / bigger body. More dry finish. Very nice moderate tart taste. 11.2% alcohol is not noticeable. Some white grape in flavor, musty tart wood and fruit, maybe some veggie flavors. Tasty sour.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours murky and caramel-colored with a small, creamy, mushroom-colored head. The complex, multi-layered aroma is both an earthy and fruity intermingling of leather, straw, grape SweeTarts, caramel, sour cherries, purple grapes and black currants. Full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavor tilts toward the fruity-tart and caramely-sweet sides of balance, but also delivers a modest measure of bready, crusty bitterness. Finishes tangy with a moderate kiss of caramel. World class brew!
