Bottle. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of tart cherries, fruit, oak and moderate malts. Flavor starts out moderately sweet with a building tartness. Notes of tart cherries, ripe dark fruits and wood. Ends with a great barnyard funk and cherry tartness.

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a huge lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, matlt and caramel, leadng to a tart finish.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small a small white head. Aroma is wineous and overripe fruity. Wineous, spirits and light wooden. Smooth fruity and light citric. Crisp and wineous to fruity. Dry and toasted malty into the finish. Smooth and lingering fruity far fish.

Draft at Churchkey. This is going to amount to purely a sour tick for me. Classic notes on this beer just like all of the other vintages; deep plum colored pour with dark fruit sweetness and big vinous sweetness mixed with red wine vinegar and nice biting sour character. Boozy, delicious.

[ Trade by fiulijn ]. Clear light dark amber orange colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate ot heavy tart, berries, oak, fruity. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, cherry, grape, wood, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120818]

Aroma has ripe fruits and bit funk. Hazy brown no head. Taste has berries, cherry, apple. Sour, medium body, light feel, long finish. Interesting, nuanced and tasty.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic, Fontainas. Probablement une de mes moins préférées de la série, étant habitué à recevoir un bon coup de poing aigre/vinaigre, je reste un peu sur ma soif. Couleur cuivrée, col épais beige. Arôme note aigre fruitée avec un léger vinaigre qui a du mal à percer. Palais, se boit toujours facilement malgré les 11%, ici aussi, le profile vinaigre tant espéré peine à venir, ceci étant dit, il n’est pas absent. Il est là, mais j’en voulais plus. Ce dernier donne tout de même un petit coup de gorge pour une fin de bouche légèrement vinaigrée. Le tout se balance avec une dominance maltée caramel avec un côté sucré et un brin de fruits noirs. Une bière qui pourrait évoluer avec le temps? en tout les cas, je garde ma bouteille en cave, et à voir dans qcq mois ce qu’il en deviendra.
