Tap at Smoke & Barrel. Pours a clear jewel ruby with no head and no carbonation. Typical. Nose is detergent and heavy acetic acid. Moves to sharp strawberry/raspberry. Something like sweet short ribs- no that's just the restaurant. Taste is heavy acetic acid, Flemish Red red wine, oak, balsamic. Palate is rich, acetic, very hot. Heavy apple cider vinegar is an understatement. Some lactic density seems to work well. Though very heavy on acetic acid, the profile BFM has consistently created is still quaffable, quenching, enjoyable. Still dangerous at 11%. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Churchkey. This is going to amount to purely a sour tick for me. Classic notes on this beer just like all of the other vintages; deep plum colored pour with dark fruit sweetness and big vinous sweetness mixed with red wine vinegar and nice biting sour character. Boozy, delicious.
