On bottle from Vinmonopolet Stovner( on order), Oslo. Coppered color, some foam. Aromas of red berries: high intensity. Also autumn leaves, some malt. Medium body & high complexity . High sourness & some bitterness. Excellent ! Best Swiss Beer I've tasted so far! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Murky deep amber with a minimal ring of cream froth. Nose is dried fruit, acidic, wood, tart, cheese, and funky. Great on the palate, sour, tart, wood, basement, acidic, fruit, and delicious.

Bottle at home. Is unclear and has a brown color, and a small, off-white head. Aroma is typically acidic and sharp with touches of oak, juniper berries, forest, some barnyard and hints of tea. The taste is more sweet, but still has a good touch of sour berries. Mouth feel is full-bodied and silky, with a light berry bitterness. A real complex, compact and balanced sour ale. Great with food, fantastic alone.

Keg @ Mekong. Amber pour with a small head. The nose is candied cherry, brown bread. Light funk. Mineral flavors. Red berry compote. Moderate acetic funk. Nice tart finish. Medium body, fine carbonation. Nice.

Omfg. Nice funky lambic-y aroma. Initially this is fruity tartness, but there is an unexpected depth of flavor. Notes of raisens, fruit, vanilla. A very pleasant finish. Abv is hidden yet warms you to the core. Amazing.

On draught for Zwanze Day 2013, Avenue Pub! Pours a hazy reddish brown with thin bubbly head that holds carbonation but doesn’t lace. Aroma is funky barnyard, vinegar sourness, dry fruits. Taste is more sour than the nose, less of the funkiness, nice dark fruit notes. No hint of the high abv, very nicely done.

Nice slightly bubbly longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry, lots of oak, paint, vinegar, overripe red berries, grass, hints of caramel. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish, vinegar, red berries, sugar, oak, grass, caramel, sorrel, paint. Very nice one, but I think this one is more like a sour red / brown. And I’d never have guessed that this one was 11% ABV. Some years aging will also do this one very good.

On tap at Coffee District, Delray Bch,Fla, pours a dark rusty orange. Nose is sour and tart but pleasantly do. Taste is sour and fruity and warms and puckers the palate . Finish is sour and puckering. Quaff Score 8 / 10
