On tap at Dutch’s. A somewhat hazy red / brown color. Little off-white head. Lace doesn’t stick. Bigger body. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Dark fruit flavors, wood, light spice. Nice light to moderate tart taste, light bitter. Nice, bigger sour. Alcohol works well here, not distracting at all. Satisfying to sip on slowly during a rainy day.

Draft. Poured a hazy reddish copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour tart fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & tart fruit flavor with a medium to heavy tart & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

Draft to taster at Dutch’s Stinky Cheese & Sour Beer event. Looks alright; not really carbonated though. A cloudy brownish orange with razor-thin white lacing. Smells tart and funky in a Flanders-ish kind of way. Cherry as well. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid beer that (much like most of their beers) could be much better if it were adequately carbonated.

Draft at sb. Pours a murky dark brown with noo real head or lace. Still. Bright vinous and balsamic nose. Creamy medium body, no carb. Juicy blackberry, cherry, minerals, balsamic, and blood orange on the mid palate. Long tangy vinous berry finish.

Draft at Mekong. I’m not going to do this justice here. Clear reddish light brown, very slight head. Aroma is funk and dark cherry. Flavor matches, but there is an amazing complexity here that I simply can’t capture. Touch of vanilla, stone fruit, and a certain richness to the sourness, which is somewhat acetic and balsamic vinegar in nature. Great stuff, just loved it. Could have smelled it alone for an hour.

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Stovner( on order), Oslo. Coppered color, some foam. Aromas of red berries: high intensity. Also autumn leaves, some malt. Medium body & high complexity . High sourness & some bitterness. Excellent ! Best Swiss Beer I've tasted so far!

Murky deep amber with a minimal ring of cream froth. Nose is dried fruit, acidic, wood, tart, cheese, and funky. Great on the palate, sour, tart, wood, basement, acidic, fruit, and delicious.

Bottle at home. Is unclear and has a brown color, and a small, off-white head. Aroma is typically acidic and sharp with touches of oak, juniper berries, forest, some barnyard and hints of tea. The taste is more sweet, but still has a good touch of sour berries. Mouth feel is full-bodied and silky, with a light berry bitterness. A real complex, compact and balanced sour ale. Great with food, fantastic alone.

Keg @ Mekong. Amber pour with a small head. The nose is candied cherry, brown bread. Light funk. Mineral flavors. Red berry compote. Moderate acetic funk. Nice tart finish. Medium body, fine carbonation. Nice.

Draft at Mekong. Aroma of tart stone fruits, caramel, earthy funk. The taste is tart funk, citrus, stone fruit, berries, mild earth and wood. Medium bodied, nice.
