Bottle: Poured a hazy reddish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of vinous notes with oak and cherry with some tart notes is quite nice. Taste is a nice mix of cherry and oak with some tart notes and a vinous feel. Body is full with good carbonation. Nice level of complexity with some great drinkability.

Backlog. Draft at Churchkey. Cloudy dark orange with bare white head. Fruity funk with oak and caramel. Very well balanced and the alcohol is well hidden. Nice.

Red color with little foam. The smell is sourish with bread notes. The taste is thick, sour, oily vinegar like and has a super liquid breadish sourness. They aftertaste is sour and bread like.

750ml bottle in a mason jar. Pours amber/red with an off-white head. Aroma of sourness/funkiness, some dark fruits, oak and light notes of vanilla, some notes of caramel and light sweetness from the malts. An incredible balance of the sour and oak and dark fruits/malts. Average texture. A great beer.

37,5cl bottle from Erzbierschof. A classic among Swiss craft beers, and well earned at that. Its sourness is a challenge to the newcomer, but it is not out of bounds and actually well harmonized with everything else this beer has to offer. One of the best beers for a hot summer day. Better taste, buy worse nose than the 2013.

Tasted a few times. This was my first SBC ever. Amber color with white ring. Most recent tasting July 20, 2015. More fresh fruits than old sweet fruits than the 2013. Good sourness and good compexity, great how it’s made together.

Bottle shared with daje, edvard and Simonsen at The "Esp0r #2000 Weekend in The Woods" 2014
Orange, small haze, thin tanned head. Smell of ripe berries, tart apples, funk, barnyard, light malts and hints of caramel. Light to moderate sweet, quite tart, some lemon, cherries and other berries, medium sour. Moderate bitter, cherry stone tail. A fantastic sour!
