3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from tap to glass. Hazy brown hue with white head that immediately dissipates. Aroma is honey, lactic, acetic, straw. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and low carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness with acidic sourness and an ethanol finish. Overall this is a great brew.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Not tasted in best condition. Not much head, amber hazy. sour, acetic, note of wood. No alcohol taste (for that strong beer I was amazed). A pleaseant wild ale but it’s a overrated/overpriced.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie, Feb’ 2014 consumed at hone Thursday & Friday 24 & 25th April 2014 Wonderfully tart, I really wasn’t sure what to expect but really like this. Fruity with cherry then some soft oakiness, but with a big balsamic rush. Pours reddy/amber in colour a few bubbles dancing about but not the big head expected. I put one of those wine air sealer stoppers on this and it did the trick, still tastes great the following day. A6 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.6

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Moeder Lambic. Really impressed by this beer! Pours clear ligh amber with reddish hints, small fine bubbly head. Aromas of caramel and forest fruits. Full body with an intense sweet-sour profile but marvelously balanced. This beer makes one sip again immediately after the previous one. Very dangerous...

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Little to no head. Soft carbonation. Ruby-brown, color of oude bruin. Tart smell, acetic. Definitely sour, taste of rotten wood, cherries, very fruity. I did not feel the 11%.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice copper pour. Smells of strong oak, tart cherries, and lemon. Taste is very acidic and a slight booziness which is to expected. Also has a nice oakiness. Overall a good beer but not as good as 2011

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at the Sybarite Pig in Boca Raton, FL. Served in a small long-stemmed snifter. Pours a beautiful reddish amber with a thin white head. Powerful aroma of tart cherries, red wine, slight vinegar, alcohol, and other sour fruits. The taste is very potent with defined cherries and other fruits. Actually not as tart as the aroma would suggest, but certainly it gets your attention. Somewhat of a dryness with a fruity aftertaste. Cherries and raspberries seem to dominate. Somewhat boozy but it didn’t seem like an 11%. Very good again indeed.

Draftcat Strangelove?s in Philly. Very hazy copper pour. Large off-white head. Nice pungent sour. Middle dark fruits. Huge figs but also burnt oranges and big dark fruit. Nice full sour. Dark plummy goodness. Somewhat aggressive ABV but the flavors but still nice and complex. Slight rancidness at the end. Great brew in balance.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Small cream head over foxy red-amber beer, quasi still. Sweet spices and sour wood. Delicious balance, very vinous & fruity nose. Mildly wry, wood. Finish with lactic acid, but the general impression is again one of (red)fruit (on wood). Lipsmacking sourishness, over vinous (but complex and refined) sweetishness, yet dry as a whole. Hints at chocolate. Light to medium bodied, nearly absent carbonation, acidburn, slight slickness. One of Jerômes’ best. Unbelievable that such a good Flemish Oud Bruin hails from the Jura...
