4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled 375ml. Courtesy of Anton Flükiger. No carbonation. Complex, mindblowingly delicious and unique. Walnuts in the finish. I definitely enjoyed the nose more than the taste. Big thanks Toni!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
lighter than giovese, murky tan with large bubbled white head. Red wine, barrel, light acetic spice, brown sugar... nose slightly reminiscent of L’Ultima Luna. Flavor is grape juice sweetness, harshly bitter/paint-like and hot, pricking tongue at back with sour, more paint in finish, light acetic burn in chest. Muted flavor after promising nose.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy amber-orange body with no head. Basically still. Aroma of merlot, caramel, dark fruit, toffee, horseblanket, and raisins. Definitely can taste the merlot initially. Aecto-bacter, caramel, cherry oak, and grass with a dry finish. Subtle hints of nail polish remover late.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Gu-gu-gu-gusher! Pours ruby/amber with brief white head. Grape skins and vinous notes. Toffee, funk, barnyard, raisins. Dark an mysterious, but leaves a bit to be desired, especially for the price. Cheers, ucusty for sharing.

375 ml bottle @ redlight redlight. Old wood with tart grapes on the nose. Pours a reddish amber. Smooth oaky not very tart, wine-like, dark fruits, dark raspberries and strawberries. Not bad wish there was more sourness.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared by craytonic. Thanks Matt.
The beer is a light ruby hue, with very little head, appearing more like a wine than a beer. The aroma offers wine barrels, sour cherries, funk. Slightly acetic, but overall really smooth. Cherries and light funk, mild tannins. Subtle alcohol presence in the finish. Low carbonation. Very enjoyable. Very glad to have tried this. Looking forward to trying some other beers in this Grand Cru series.

Thank EricE ! Murky brown pour with no head. Oaky wood note intermingle with red wine vinousness, tart cherry dark fruits, and huge dark sugar sweetness. Thick palate with low carbonation.
