33cL flip-top bottle. Hazy chestnut color, capped with a thin off-white head. Floral aroma, with spice, caramel, and perhaps a hint of wild yeast. Flavor is a bit sweet, with grapes, tropical fruit, yeast, wheat, cocoa, and a little tartness. Wheat and some herbs in the finish. Interesting and very drinkable.

Bottle 2007: Pours a nice hazy ruby with a dense off white film of head. Lightly tart aroma with notes of berries, mild cocoa and herbal notes. The flavor has a fair bit of tart character upfront. Some subtle herbal character and chalky. The cocoa comes through slightly at the end. Pretty odd all around, but it’s drinkable in it’s uniqueness.

bottle open with a slight explosion, pours a cloudy amber and has a small tan head witch almost immediately dissolves. Un-fermentables are clearly present . Has a very appetizing aroma containg strong hints of cocoa, malt and undertones of corn syrup. Has a very unique taste unlike anything my palate has ever come across. Has a very salty first taste but finishes with a very refreshing orangena type bite. Leaves a very subtle hint of cocoa on your tongue long after drinking. definitely a one of a kind beer.

Pours a murky orange-brown with medium tan head and a ton of unfermentables sinking to the bottom of the glass. The nose is intoxicating, with strong musty notes, cocoa powder, cola, lightly roasted malts, and some fruity zest (if that makes any sense). The flavour is tart, zesty, salty and chocolatey in the finish, leaving a very distinct cocoa flavour on the tongue for days. The nose is extremely misleading. Their is a sour cherry and cheese funk flavour initially, with spicy yeast and earthy hops. This is insanely complex brew with a complete mix-match of flavours that somehow is really nice. It is able to be full in body, yet refreshing on the palate. It is cloudy in appearance, yet actively carbonated. This is an enigma, if one could ever exist in the realm of beer. Can’t taste any booze either.

Bottle from State Line. Turbid deep brown color with nose of malt, tart cherry, cacao, fruit. tastes malty, with a definite tart cherry flavor and some late hops, cacao, and spicy yeasty notes. Interesting.

33cL flip-top bottle. Poured cloudy amberish brown in color with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of slight powdered cocoa and mild spices. Taste comes in slightly sour up front and quite prickly on the tongue. Flavors of fruits, cocoa, spices and a little bready.
