Trocken, in sehr milden Grundzügen Geuze-artig. Langer herber Ausklang mit der selben milden Würzigkeit, die schon im Antrunk in gleicher Intensität vorhanden war. Vielen Dank an den Doppelbock für den gemeinsamen Test! 8/10/9/10/11/10

750ml bottle, 2007 vintage i believe, thanks to i think devon, this was an ipa? pours hazy amber with huge foamy head. nose is peppery, yeasty, esters. herbal hop flavor, a bit grassy and spicy. somewhat sweet malt bill with dry finish. way carbonated. odd beer.

Bottle. A wee bit of a gusher. Pours a dark copper color with a HUGE chunky white head. Aroma of yeast, spices and some funkiness. Also notes of herbs and floral. Flavor is much the same. Dry and slightly sour. Some grassy notes and a little caramel malts. Not bad, but far from a favorite.

Oh wow, really this old? Well, picked up a bottle - unaware of what it was. Poured a copper color, slightly cloudy, thick head. Yeast, spices, etc. Flavor was alright - though a bit spicy for my likes.

Bottle: Clear and red with huge off-white head. Hops, grass, spices and brown sugar in the aroma. Flavour is hops, earthy, woods and bread with a bitter.

Darker brown color with a a medium head. Aroma has some big barleywine-ish sugar, spice, and lots of slightly faded floral and piney hops. Flavor has some muted floral hops, a bit of sugar, and a spicy but underwhelming profile. Must have been better fresh, but its average at best right now.

750 from Holiday Wine Cellar Shared with my girlfriend Cyn. Seems weird to have an aged ipa, but oh well. Nose is muted and somewhat hoppy. Taste is sweet and spiced. If this an IPA, I’m drinking this in outer space while sitting on the rings of saturn.

very carbonated. dark tan color with big white head with lots of yeast "chunks" in it. aroma is mainly yeast with some spiciness and some other aroma I can’t tell. flavor is also very yeasty, mostly dry with some sourness. very little malt flavor. not too bad....for a very different style than I’m used to.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours brown with a large beige head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, and citrus. The flavor is fruity, caramel, and bitter. Good beer.

Nice copper color with a huge off white head that lasts for an eternity. The aroma is grassy with a hint of lemon and yeast. Very strong earthy flavor, spices and some bitterness in the finish from the hops--very grassy once again. The mouthfeel is very highly carbonated, which is a turnoff for me. Not an IPA--that is a ridiculous label for this beer! Unique for sure.
