33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry hoppy and mild fruity. Smooth fruity and barrel like. Bitter, dry and distinct grapefruity. Mild citric note. Light fruity impression. Mild acetone to phenolic note. Lasting cherry fruity to wooden impression.

Pear, boiled peanuts, and mud on the nose. Muddy brown pour with an enormous head, full of sediments. Musty pear, caramel, malt, and fig flavor. Alcohol noticeable. Light grass finish. This was pretty good, but an IPA? What hops were used?

2006 12 oz. bottle served in shaker (from Liquid Solutions)- A cause for a minor celebration since this brew puts my geo total at 50 different countries as determined by Ratebeer (WOOHOO!). Poured a murky (almost cider like quality) copper brown, creamy white head formed and laced nicely. Low to zero carbonation. Aroma of funk, cork, tart fruits, and a note of citrus. Hits the mouth with low-medium body, malt is in disguise with some very light floral, a light barnyard smell transformed to taste comes in the middle, finish has some mild pineapple and lasting funk. All over the map, but refined to limits. I really like it! Side note- getting to 50 different "countries" was relatively easy- did it by purchasing brews available locally and setting up maybe 4 or 5 different trades just for brews from different nations. As for the next 50- this is a marathon, not a sprint. But I’ll get there...

2006 750ml bottle... pours a deep murky light brown with a huge off white head... this bottle was a gusher.... flowed and flowed for a while.... some nice sour / funk aroma at first with some citrus hops... as time went on the funk faded away and the hops took over.... medium soft body with light sides and more yeasty citrus notes... a solid funky IPA.... but not worth the price tag...

Bottled. Looks like apple sauce watered down with no head at all. Aroma is all citrus and reminds me of that Norwegian IPA style, with other notes of sweeter grapefruit and lighter spices and malt vinegar. Flavors continue with the stingy vinegar and apples a little sour with only lighter citrus. Sour lasting after taste lasting. I must say this is one of the most interesting IPAs I’ve ever had.

Pours a very hazy dark muddy brown with a full four fingers worth of head that fades slowly to a thin soapy cap. The subsequent lacing is a bit tattered and broken. Smell; very yeasty, almost dusty aroma, with some dark fruits and sweet malts mixed in. Surprisingly, there’s a little little bit of a floral hop aroma, with just some touches of citrus as well. Taste; the yeast isn’t quite so strong as it was in the aroma, but still very evident. Dark fruits and sweet malts fill out the middle of theis beers, and then some floral hops come out. There also seems to be a bit of a smokiness to this as well.. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, and maybe a touch on the syrupy side, with a pretty good drinkability. Not really a beer I’d like to drik all of the time, but certainly a nice change of pace time of beer.

Tasting at Immy’s. From 750. Poured a deep orange with off white head. Nose of sour malts, spices and light fruits like apple. Flavor brings more spices and a dryish pear finish.
