COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Cloudy amber. Sweet malts. There is definitely some green tea, but it gives a stale profile to the beer. Not my fav.

A nice experiment between green tea and amber beer. Very mild body with a decent taste of green tea. Very slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Could have been a bit more interesting, but the result is a refreshing mild and easy to drink (summer-) beer with an unusual touch.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2014 330ml bottle served in a Thumbler glass. A: Pours an amber color. Cloudy. Forms a small yellow head. Low retention but a thin layer lasts forever. Some. Lacings are left S: Spicy but discreet. Sweet malts, orange zest and yeasts T: The best part. Quite spicy and citrus. Slightly sweet upfront, orange zest, sweet malts, yeasts M: Light body. Medium carbonation. Spicy and bitter aftertaste O: Good drinkability. Great BFM specimen. Recommended [ BA Review @ 9/20/2012 ]

Not so beautiful... cloudy muddy red-orange color with white head. Slightly tart aroma, a bit of roasted malts in there as well. Taste is light, a bit of bread, a bit of tea. Light body, refreshing. Interesting, as nearly everything by BFM.

Bottle 33cl from Map thanks, a cloudt amber beer with low head. Nose is astringent and yeast like. Aroma is on caramel, yeast, bit watery, vegetable touch and light black tea note. Carared malt and light brett, ok but no more.

Travlr must buy in bulk; cheers once again! Wild tart/tangy aroma, definitely green tea driven and lambic-like in character; citrusy, floral notes. Appearance is unfiltered amber/light brown with foamy white head. The flavor resembles a young, bright lambic- the tartness is sharp and intensifies into the finish. Palate is effervescent like the best of the Belgian ales. Very good right now, and will be an interesting one to age as well.

Thanks to travlr for this bottle! Light yellow pour. Lactic acid, touches of vegetable, and really nice tart citrus of pink grapefruit, bitter lemon, and unripe apricot. Sort of like a berliner weisse. Nice!
