4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Travlr must buy in bulk; cheers once again! Wild tart/tangy aroma, definitely green tea driven and lambic-like in character; citrusy, floral notes. Appearance is unfiltered amber/light brown with foamy white head. The flavor resembles a young, bright lambic- the tartness is sharp and intensifies into the finish. Palate is effervescent like the best of the Belgian ales. Very good right now, and will be an interesting one to age as well.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks travlr. Murky amber with a 1 finger white head. Nectar fruits, sage, rosemary and tea lead to sour stone fruit and a great lactic acid profile. Extremely quenching. Medium body, dry finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Bov. It pours a hazy copper beer with a small fizzy head. Hoppy brett nose with hints of green tea, tarragon, lemon peel and blood orange. Nice sour taste. Slight carbonation. Wonderful hop profile. Some green tea sneaking in. Subtle. Light bodied. Fair lacework. Good balance. Lovely notes of blood orange. Extremely refreshing. Green tea emerging in the finish which is rather dry. Very good. Thanks Bov!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber/brown with thick white head.
Aroma is herbal, green tea nose with some sugar sweetness and hops.
Taste, organic green tea as per the bottle adds some subtle light palate, herbal yeast and hops with citrus like mouthfeel and some cane sugar.
Light in body, very enjoyable and refreshing.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330mL flip-top thanks to Travlr. GUSHER! Pours a murky, glowing, brighter orange with a larger, off-white head. Nose is funky, white wine, mild acetic acid, orange candies, lots of minerals, sharp tangerine and white grapefruit rind. Taste up front is super big carbonation on the palate- overwhelming. Moves to stinging lemon tartness and ending with some sticky maltiness. Refreshing- mildly funky. No acetic character in body. Mild metallic character. Lots of citric acid. A bit stinging carbonation wise. Mildly quenching. Green tea character (tannins) on the palate is distracting and unnecessary.

Thanks to travlr for this bottle! Light yellow pour. Lactic acid, touches of vegetable, and really nice tart citrus of pink grapefruit, bitter lemon, and unripe apricot. Sort of like a berliner weisse. Nice!

A hazed golden amber ale with small floaties and a thick collapsing with head. In aroma, pleasant orange peels, smooth Brett and cave, and light white pepper. In mouth, a light sweet candy malt with Orval like notes, smooth and refreshing, well done. Bottle from Cave à Bulles, June 2010, BB Feb. 2012.

pours a cloudy amber-orange colour under a persistent and creamy pale beige head; nice lace; aroma of tea, dust and yeast; soft and creamy palate, medium-bodied and with some sourness; short sourish aftertaste of green tea - nice team work between the tea and the beer; well-made
