October 2010. Bottle. Spice and malt aromas. Straw yellow color with a white head. Flavors of light fruit, spices, malt and hops. Slightly sour finish.

33cl fliptop, merci Allen! - yet another technically masterfully executed spice-attack on a perfectly balanced Belgian Witbier recipe. Base is in itself a pleasing enough honey-frontal wit with some citrus, a far relative of Dupont’s biere de miel. BUT: as I had no scallopine milanese at hand to foodpair this with, I had no use for the sage and challenge anyone to sense a dire lack of sage in their beer.
BFM for me so far: Belgian beer goes marché paysan, beer goes spice bath, beer goes foot bath. Forget the Germany-US beer divide, the true frontier is at the Germanic-Romanic divide in CH and B...

Smak och doft av humle, malt, belgisk jäst, citrus, örtigt. Frisk med en lätt citrusbeska.

Draught at Craft Heads, Tokyo. Hazy pale yellow colour with a small white head. Citric hops aroma. Flavour is sweet, honey, slightly bitter.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Cloudy piss colour with a frothy white head. Coriannder, nutmef, olives and some sage aroma. Tastes slightly sweet, delicate and nice with sage. Chewy, medium-bodied, sweet, fruit aftertaste.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Murky pale yellow. Yeasty and spicy aroma of sage with fruit esters, light funky notes and a bit of olives. Yeasty and spicy flavor with sage, some fruitiness and a finish with a bit of bitterness. Light to medium-bodied.

Oklar gyllene i färgen med offwhite skum. Doftar funky, örtigt, söt malt. Smakar friskt, örtigt, maltigt, jäst och citrus.

Bottle; pours clear golden, fluffy off white head. Cedar, Belgian yeast, floral notes on the nose. A bit thin, farmhouse funk, tartness. Reasonable beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml flip top bottle. Pours a cloudy yet sparkling golden yellow with no head, almost wine like. Aroma and Taste is mild sweet herbal spices, light malt, slightly pungent yeast with light bitterness, some alcohol essence and tartness. Palate is a medium body, smooth, with light carbonation. Finish is sweet and bitter herbal spices, sage, Belgian yeast, some fruity notes, almost like a white wine. Overall an interesting brew that grows on you as you drink, a good after dinner brew.

A well crafted very unique beer. Quite refreshing and slightly tart. Minor metallic aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
