Carbonatation moyenne.

It pours a hazy orange yellow with a 1 finger head of foam and does well with the lacing. It smells spicy and earthy which likely comes from the sage used. Plenty of coriander in there as well. Big coriander and bigger sage with a dash of pepper. No sweetness here, mild hint of tartness, good level of unusual bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Enjoyable for the most part.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2014 330ml bottle poured in a chalice. Delicious BFM specimen. A: Looks like a witbier, yellow to white color with a very cloudy body. Pours a medium fluffy head which dissipates leaving no lacings S: Very good. Spicy as it should. Citrus lemon. Malts, biscuits and yeasts. A bit flowery T: Really good stuff. Light sourness. discreet pepper and coriander. A bit of vanilla (?). Light bitterness. M: Light after all. Smooth. Medium to low carbonation D: Good [ BA Review @ 10/6/2010 ]

Bright cloudy gold with small white head. Fragrant yeasty clove banana aroma. Taste - again with the banana and clove...says that sage is an ingredient and I get that on the end. Also notes of honey, wheat and again with the yeast. A spicy flavorful malt forward ale. I liked it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light carbonation, first smell is oranges. The taste of sage is easily distinguishable but not too prominent. After a while, I started noticing the sour malt taste that is typical for this brewery and the whole region in general, but it is far less prominent then with the "La Salamandre". The light body and light carbonation are a good match with the delicacy of the hops and the sage. Unlike a lot of other beers I tasted from Switzerland, I would order a second one.
