This golden ale poured with a decent off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a sour fruit flavor with a bitter herbal finish. Everything goes together quite wll, resultng an a tasty brew.

Jul 17, 2008 Bottle (330ml) shared with and courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a cloudy deep golden-orange with a large frothy white head. Aroma of yest, wheat, honey and yup, some sage. Quite herbal too. Somewhat refreshing flavour of herbs, spices, fruit and a touch of honey. Notable bitter finish. Light bodied. Pretty good.

Jul 10, 2008 Pale golden color with a small white head. Interesting aroma that has notes of pears, white grapes, and sage. Tart flavors of lemons and sweet-tarts candies. A light hop presence and some herbal qualities come through in the finish. Interesting and not too bad.

Jul 3, 2008 33 cl swingtop. Hazy gold with a white head. yeasty, lemony and, uh, sage-y nose. Flavors similar. lightly sweet but a dryish finish. Not bad - interesting flavor.

Jun 26, 2008 Bottle (330ml - swing-top). Shared with blankboy. Cloudy (nice protein strings) gold-amber, large fizzy-foamy white head, nice lacing. Best before March 09. Dry yeasty aroma, spicy and sweetly floral - a bit like a honeyed BdeG. The taste is floral and sweetly malty too, but the bitterness of the sage emerges, with a hint of lemon zest. Light body, not much carbonation, with a quick finish and a nice lightly astringent linger. I’d drink this on a patio in Bern ...

May 27, 2008 33cl flip top bottle. Pours cloudy golden with white head. Aroma sweet, yeasty and spicy. Taste very spicy and yeasty and with dry finish.
