[ Courtesy of fiulijn ]. Unclear small sized body particles, a medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, old malt, moderate yeasty, perfume - soap, fruity, light spicy - sage, flowers - honey notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet flowers - honey. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100307]

The aroma is dominated by lemon by also containing spices. The color is an unclear orange and it has a fine though collapsing white head. The flavor is very spicy, but also sweet and with notes of wood, oranges, cloves, earth, and oregano. The end is quite bitter and dry - and it has a long aftertaste of all the spices. This is a really nice beer - thanks a lot to Alex (fiulijn) for trading me this one.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of Bov. Pours hazy dark orange with a small light off-white head. Aroma is floral and spiced of sage. Mild sweet flavoured with a distinct floral note. Mild yeasty and herbal too. Lasting spiced and herbal into the far finish. Interesting brew, rather unique.

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy, pale amber with a white head. Slightly spicy nose. Dry, spicy flavours - I feel I can spot some ginger. Quite hoppy, dry finish. Refreshing. 071105

Bottled (Thanks Bov!). Honeyish golden colour with huge white foamy/bubbly head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with some honey and spices in it. Totally lovely aroma. Also some fresh forest in the aroma. Flavour is herbs, some spices and juniper-wood. Mediumbitterness along with the other flavours. The herbs stay long in the aftertaste. A very refreshing and nice brew!

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, December 2010. Pours clear yellow with a creamy egg white head. Nose is baking powder/dough and spices. Very dominated by sage. One dimensional. Medium bodied.

Blond, exaggerated carbonation. Spicy aroma: cardamom, coriander. Dry, quite astringent, with some sourness.

Good blond ale, misty, with living yeast in the bottle like all the other beers by BFM. A wonderful hop character (aroma and flavour) that overwelmes the malt taste. Long finish, bitter and aromatic.
