3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light carbonation, first smell is oranges. The taste of sage is easily distinguishable but not too prominent. After a while, I started noticing the sour malt taste that is typical for this brewery and the whole region in general, but it is far less prominent then with the "La Salamandre". The light body and light carbonation are a good match with the delicacy of the hops and the sage. Unlike a lot of other beers I tasted from Switzerland, I would order a second one.

Tap at Ushi Tora. Interesting smell, bit vegetable, bit sage, orange and spice. Also totally flat, herbal taste, and some tropical fruit squash. Pineapple maybe. I like this.

Tap at Marciero. Lovely orange-golden color, cloudy, with lace. Big sage nose, golden malts, a bit too much sage for me, but it works in the flavor. Malty and sweet, sage, orange rich malts. dry finish. Interesting use of the spice and pretty enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle brought back from Switzerland by my incredibly kind girlfriend. Poured a golden colour, with a slight haze and a very dense white head. Wonderful aroma; massive tropical fruit, peaches and pastry. Citrus hop flavours, bitter grains and brown sugar. Finish was grapefruit, dry hop resin and unripe fruit.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Yellow misty body with stable head. Aromas of wheat, lemon, light spices, bread and some herbal hops. Well developed yeast profile. Not overly complex in taste, as opposed to the nice aroma mix, with only the dry ending pleasing me more than average. Well brewed and nice aromatic (yet accessible) mix, but the taste is not much more than a well hopped bitterness and wheat palate. (33cl bottle gifted by the Au Bon Coin owner, many thanks!)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from AndrewC, thanks my friend. Hazy pale gold lasting big white head. Some herby aroma. It’s like a Belgian wit beer with some sage and some dryness on the finish. It’s got a little perfumed soap. I like the dryness on the finish. It’s a decent Belgian wit with some sage. OK.
