3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Old BA rate - bottle)
Pours with a thinner pure white head; very hazy light orange-yellow color. Is there Brett in this? Maybe as it’s a little acidic, light fruits, slight funky in an Orval kind of way for the aroma. Hint of citrus up front, green apples, a little sour and I swear there’s a bit of funk hiding in there as well. A little floral...several layers going on here. Lightish, carbonation was fairly soft; a little silky. Nice enough drinking, and paired up well with prosciutto and gruyere

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Very cloudy blond with a nice fizzy white head. Very nice aroma of sweet malt, fruit, citrus, spice and yeast. It has a touch of funkyness. It has a sweetish honey flavour of grapefruit with a wonderful lemon sourness from the wheat, almost like sherbet in character. Prickly mouthfeel with some spicyness and dryness in the finish but really refreshing. A very interesting beer.

(swing top bottle, 33cl, with thanks to Allen) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Sweet and slightly sour fruity (citrus) and wheaty aroma with very present coriander spice and traces of soap/vegetables. Moderately sweet and sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Delicately yeasty, wheat-malty taste with notes of citrus and rather modest notes of coriander; almost dry, sourish and slightly tart and spicy finish. 17.I.10

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass quite light, huge head, modest turbid. Sourish aroma. Starts fine fruity like lemon and apricot, quite sourish. Finish is a bit dry-floury. Still quite drinkable. Good one. Big thanks to Allen for the bottle!
