Aroma of apricot, sweet grape, and a slight tart nectarines. Pours deep orange/brown with a big fluffy head. Taste is muddled with clove, apricot, with a bitter metallic end. I don’t know if that’s the coffee in the back but it doesn’t quite work.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2012 Pours a deep brownish amber color with a finger or so of off white foam. Aromas are dark fruit, malty spice and a big wild hoppy slightly band aid undertone. On the palate its starts fruity with hints of plum raisin and even a touch of blackberry but the bitter hop spice flavors overtake the fruit pretty quickly leading the mid palate and finish into a dark coffee citrus and cedar like finish.

Amber color with white head. Aroma contains some sour fruit and bready notes. Flavor is rather sour with citrus, bready, not a typical weizenbock at all. Good beer even if not to style.

Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Dark orange brown with a nice tight head. Soft aroma but some juicy caramel red fruits jump out at first sip. Pulls back a bit bitter. Some coffee notes when cold. Gets jucier as it warms. Candied apricots. Hint of raspberries. Milky caramel. Sweet at the top and finish. Thin body. Nice unusual different frequencies of notes that play well together.

On tap at Rustico - Alexandria. Served in a stange. Metallic. Background notes of leather and dark fruits. Dry with moderate carbonation. Not the BFM quality that I expect.

On tap at Churchkey. Dark hazy copper pour with frothy off white head. Aroma of pumpkin, clove, wheat, cinnamon and light brett. Taste is wheaty with just a hint of sourness, lond lingering spicy finish. Light carbonation, medium body makes a really creamy mouthfeel. Nice

Enjoyed on tap at Ebenezer’s. A good weizenbock. Good drinkability, smooth, tasty citrus. I would expect a fuller mouthfeel however.Fruity. A good head.

Tap. Pours clear brown with a medium, creamy light tan head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is cookie and caramel malt, earthy hops and dates. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, dark fruity esters, nuts and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.
