draft at the brewpub. definitely the best of the three beers on offer. Not up there with the great Czech darks, but a pleasant dark brown/red beer. slightly sweet at first taste, but with a nice roasted edge. a somewhat bittersweet finish, and a smooth texture

Jul 11, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Opaque black body topped with a thick, everlasting beige creamy head. Good malty aroma with light roasty hints. Malty/hoppy taste is well balanced. It carries roasty notes and ends with a decent bitter/roasty finish. Enjoyable and well done.

Jun 7, 2005 ot much to make this one standout. Aftertaste is a thin, bitter that turns to sour. Better than no beer but not a great oe!

Jan 5, 2005 On tap at the Beer House, Chisinau. Dark brown colour and solid beige foamy head. Fresh sweet malty aroma and clear earthy taste, typical to Czech tmaves: malty with lack of any hints of caramel. Delicious roasty aftertaste...
