Scauca (245), Lovere, Italy Mar 26, 2007 Updated: Dec 26, 2007 On tap and randallized. Obviously fresh hop scents (citrus, grass, bit pepper). Fantastic brilliant copper red but lack head, think ’cause it was poured as real-ales. Fruity sweet flavour, well balanced by randall’s hop. Well brewed indeed. 8; 3; 8; 4; 13 = 3.6
Re-rate: Drank a lot since that first time, on tap, nitro-kegged and bottled. Loads of fruitiness , the right cara touch as a beautiful backbone to a perfect mix of hops. Medium bodied, very smooth and balanced, perfect session beer to me. Thanks Beppe.

Amber-coppery and quite clear. White and fluffy head (maybe too much for the style, at least the last time). Wonderful hoppy explosion both in the nose and mouth. Refreshing and exciting fresh hop and citrusy aroma, quite strong (as I like!) but not very long-lasting. Mild malty notes which stay in the background.
Medium body, smooth and well balanced even if the hoppy bitterness actually dominates.
It’s simply dangerous drinkable for me. MartinT (4330), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Aug 9, 2008 My Bottom Line:
This sessionable ale gathers caramel maltiness, dried orange fruitiness and herbal, spicy hops in a healthy mouthfeel fit for relaxed conversations.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A beautiful crest of foam is pinned atop the nearly clear amber.
-Flavorful but not intense, it expresses itself quite wisely throughout. All flavors are balanced and carry over into the finish.
-Carbonation is soft and increases drinkability.
-The finishing hop bitterness is accompanied by enough residual sugars to keep the equilibrium going.
On tap at HOP, Milano. JoeinUccle (667), Brussels, Belgium Oct 22, 2007 On tap @ Brassigaume fest. Dark amber color, hazy, beige film on top. Lightly hoppy, mildly hoppy flavor like a bitter, quffable and nice.
