Black with red reflections, great head. Addictive taste, never boring. Ballanced hops and roast, with a sweet caress. Probably one of the best companions in long winter nights.
4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 danielecamo (86) - ITALY - FEB 13, 2012
Semplicemente la miglior porter mai bevuta, molto torrefatto e molto luppolo nel finale, comunque molto ben bilanciata. Ogni volta provoca assuefazione.

Dark color, big foam. Aroma is roasted malts and hops, flavour is overhopped for an english porter, but very tasty! Palate is soft body and low carbonation. Pretty nice porter

Draught at "Italian Beer Festival 2011" - Milan.
Black and solid aspect. Very strong and supporting head, light nut color. Dark and impenetrable. Powerfull scent of ash, braced malt, roast wood and bitter cacao. Pleasant coofè taste, much bitter and much lively in the mouth. Long and pleasant final.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Scauca (490) - Lovere, ITALY - NOV 15, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2008 Draft at Hop, Milan. Black with red blinks. Disappearing head. Very strong aroma of licorice, cappuccino and cocoa. Somewhat earthy. Roastiness. Balanced indeed as what concern hop, roastiness and body. Flavours are very strong, with a beautiful licorice dry ending, but it was so carbonated that i’ve found very hard to empty my mug.

H pump at the brew pub. Served almost warm, with a very silky and smooth palate, right carbonation and really strong and balanced flavours.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 cesaro202 (14) - ITALY - DEC 3, 2011

Corpo esile, consistenza vellutata, carbonazione soft. Una delle migliori porter mai assaggiate.
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ragnampiza (60) - ITALY - SEP 21, 2011
375 ml bottle from Domus Birrae. Pours dark brown, almost black, with a light beige head. Good lacing retention. Powerful aroma of roasted malts, coffee, smoke and vanilla. Plus a small hops presence as well. Very smooth taste with a pleasent roasted and smoked long finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, excellent drinkability. Elegant, balanced, lovely porter!
