COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
LEY LINE is brewed in order to create a new line (ley line) virtually connecting England (because of the use of english malts and hops), Belgium (malts and yeast), Germany (malts and hops) and Italy, this last one because of the use of the corbezzolo ("strawberry tree") honey, a very peculiar honey which is produced almost exclusively in Sardinia.

In questa birra si sente molto la presenza del miele, anch’esso particolarmente amaro. Buona birra da assaggiare ma non ne berrei una seconda.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy light amber color; creamy thick head. Very nice aroma, delicate honey, hop, slightly herbal; the aroma is the best feature in this beer. Medium body structure, getting weaker at the end (quite common when fermenting honey); there is some sugar, malt taste and some toffee; quite bold late bitterness, with traces of yeast and herbs. Very good.

Bottle shared with the crew in late November, thanks R. Deep orange, frothy head. Mild sour and citrus aroma. Decent sour taste, again, some citrus present. Similar to the first one I tried from these guys sans bitterness. Not terribly interesting.
