Very summery fresh beer. Light carbonation, blond and transparent appearance and very clear, I’ve drunk this beer on tap in a small glass (unique size). That’s because of the easiness to increase its temperature in summer time and because of its proper glass which has a very thin border. Its low alcoholic graduation is also very indicated for the summer season.

13/01/2012 Open Baladin (tap). Giallo scarico, abbastanza limpida, schiuma biancastra, abbondante e abbastanza persistente. Naso delicato, per nulla esplosivo, ma gradevolissimo. Sentori citrici, di limone, preponderanti, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è un miracolo assoluto di equilibrio e beverinità, attacco maltato, quindi amaro deciso ma mai invasivo e una puntina acidula sul finale che lascia la bocca pulita. Corpo medio-basso, carbonazione buona. Birra fantastica, non ci si stanca mai di berla.

Sampled at the brew pub. It pours a hazy golden beer with a small creamy white head. Wonderfully hoppy taste with hints of tropical fruits. Some coconut and wild strawberries sneaking in. Beautiful lacework. Deeply refreshing. Light bodied. Good bitterness. Long dry hoppy finish. A great beer. Absolutely fantastic!

Aroma is grassy and citrusy, appearance is clear and pale, with a frothy white head. Taste is quite dry and bitter, much more than the German "original", with very low carbonation. An excellent beer!
