3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Hirotoma (471) - Bologna, ITALY - AUG 10, 2012
Si presenta malissimo, brutto colore, sembra piscio malato, molta schiuma, troppa, odore da birra industriale da 4 soldi, però le sorprese arrivano con il sapore luppolato fruttato! Il retrogusto non è particolarmente persistente!
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 AlchemikalGab (33) - Borgomanero (Novara), ITALY - JUN 10, 2012
33 cl Bottle @ home. If you’re in Italy you can easily find it in Ipercoop supermarkets at a reasonable price [a couple of euros a bottle], compared to other craft brews. Nice nose, lemony, zesty with some white grapes. Medium carbonation and bitterness, light to medium in body, very drinkable. Great value for its price, at least here in Italy.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KyotoLefty (4727) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 11, 2012
Bottle by mail order from Umano liquor store in Kanazawa. Deep golden color, a bit towards bronze, with a huge, very fine head. Slightly cloudy. Hoppy, yeasty aroma: lemon, earth, light honey. Reminds me of Nagahama beers in Japan. Spicy, yeasty flavor, earthy hops, lemon, bread. Yeast is slightly funky and the overall effect is very earthy. Nice, but I prefer a golden to be a little cleaner yeast-wise.

Bottle at Craig’s ’need some cupboard space tasting.’ Poured a clear blonde colour with a thick white head. Aroma of lemon, white pepper, yeast and barley. Flavours of musty hay, caramel, barley and yeast again. A little thin with a foamy mouth-feel, moderate carbonation and a light CO2 prickle.

Bottle @ Craig Garvies. Flowery perfume aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Dry resin lemon grapefruit flavour. Dry aftertaste. Not reallyna blonde ale. More like a Kolsch.
