I had a couple of these bottles in Ha Noi, Vietnam. The beer had a light-medium gold color with a modest foamy white head with little cling and retention. It featured a modest grainy hops aroma with a bit of yeast and straw. The taste was lightly grainy and bitter with a touch of sourness. It had a light-to-medium body with average carbonation and wetness.

Bouteille 450 ml Couleur jaune pale-or avec une mousse blanche peu persistante. Arôme d’herbe assez légère. Gout de céréale encore une fois assez faible, légèrement sucré, peu (vraiment faible) amertume. Elle a un gout métallique surtout vers la fin assez désagréable. Elle est plutôt mince en bouche. Bière correcte dans son genre !

Bottle: poured a golden with white head. Aroma is sweet grassy. Taste is watery and sweet grass.

Pretty bad. Chemical like sweetness in flavor and aroma. Some oxidation. The north Korean beer was way better. Thanks Shig!

Thanks to SHIG. Smells horrible. Some kind of cleaning solvent. Almost bleachy. I’m afraid to take a sip. Flavor is more mild, full of corn, and overall pretty horrible. Tastes like a liquid cardboard box.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2011 Bottle. A clear yellow golden colour with a white foamy head. An aroma of malt, grain, grass and some rice or maize. The taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. A light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation and a medium long finish.

450 ml bottle my brother brought back from South Korea. Pours a clear pale yellow with a finger-thick white head that leaves a lasting film. Aroma of fresh dough, bready malts, corn starch, sugar, straw, and other grains. Flavor of sweet, pale, bready malts, corn starch, straw, sugar, dry grains, and yeast. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a dry, grainy mouthfeel. Not that bad, actually, for what I expected. The nose is fairly interesting.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw in colour, with a very slight white head. Aroma is yeast, wheat, and mild rice. Taste is a bit more interesting than expected. It’s got some sweet grain, yeasts, slight hops on the end, and a bit of a wet earthy flavor mixed with some spice.

Bottle. Light gold, lots of bubbles, thick head. Aroma is bland, spritzy, minerally. Thin and watery palate. Not too sweet or sticky, is relatively smooth. Flavors are water, minerals, slight formal/herbal notes make it not so bad.
