Bottle by mail order from Umano liquor store in Kanazawa. Shiny pitch black with a thick, fine head. Nice, complex nose: chocolate, hazelnuts, light coffee, bread, oats, touch of blackberries. Dry, roasty flavor, dark chocolate and espresso. Lacking compared to the nose. A bit thin on the palate, and very carbonated. Strange drynessgive way to soft sweetness. Interesting.

Botella de 330ml. Vaso Tumbler. Saboreada en ene´12. Color caoba oscuro con tintes rubi a contraluz. Aroma intenso a granos de avena, matices de toffee y café. Sabor gentil de maltas tostadas. Paladar sedoso. Agradable y asimilable. 330ml bottle. Tumbler glass. Enjoyed on jan´12. Dark mahogany in color, ruby hues to the light. Intense oat grain aroma, hints of toffee & coffee. Toasted malt gentle flavor. Smooth silky palate. Slightly bitterness in the middle lingers to the finish. Full body, moderate carbonation. Chocolate notes on the aftertaste. Pleasant & drinkable.

On tap at Selezione Birra 2012, Rimini. Pours a dark brown color with a small light brown head. Good lacing. Aroma is toasted notes and coffee beans. Slight hoppiness. Taste is moderately sweet with hints of vanilla and caramel. Loads of roasted notes, wood and licorice. Good carbonation. Well crafted.

Bottle bought at GBBF 2011 and consumed at home on my last day of my summer holiday. Black beer with lasting beige head. Roasty toasty malty beers. Quite bitter on the finish. Decent choc flavour. Very choccy and really very drinkable.

Gran bella stout, la linea BIA è veramente meritevole! Oh no Fantozzi è sull’hard disk esterno
