Bottle. Yellowish colour, dull aroma, watery flavourless beer with hint of that skunky mess found in hot country lagers.

Poured a clear straw to gold with a white head. Aroma was of a ton of slunk. Flavor similar, finishes with a sweet grainy character.

Lager pâle de base, sur les céréales et malt, pas grand chose hormis d’être désaltérante. Finale légèrement désagréable à mon goût. Bouteille 33cl achetée chez Tang frères, Lognes, France, bue le 12/07/2015.

First tried this in a fish market in District 10, Saigon. Went down so quickly it might has well been Evian, but the aroma of the markets mingling with the vegetal, tinny and bready aroma didn’t sit too well, so I thought I’d order a few more and maybe a big ol’ plate of fried Elephant Fish. The aroma of this was sometimes clean, sometimes oxidised depending on where it was purchased. In the larger restaurants it had a pleasant lemongrass and toasted white bread nose. From street stalls it might well have been left out in the sun for a month. When poured it is a brilliant yellow gold with high carbonation and a well-fuelled, sudsy white crown. Fizzy and light on the palate with a swiftly fading sweetness upfront and peppery, light hop finish. Swallow is clean and crisp but there is a lingering wort-like sweetness. Pleasant given its source, but just another SE Asian lager to tick off the box. (45cL, Saigon, Vietnam)

Standar lager with not so much to offer. The only think I take it in the holiday of Vietnam, so it was pleasant for that.

[Bottle] Light yellow in color with a fizzy white head on top. Sweet pale malt nose mixes in with some vegetal notes. Light skunked flavor. Pale malts, adjunct and light hops in the flavor. Highly carbonated. Sweet finish is somewhat unpleasant. Tasting notes from 8/2014.
