Bottle. Yellowish colour, dull aroma, watery flavourless beer with hint of that skunky mess found in hot country lagers.

[Bottle] Light yellow in color with a fizzy white head on top. Sweet pale malt nose mixes in with some vegetal notes. Light skunked flavor. Pale malts, adjunct and light hops in the flavor. Highly carbonated. Sweet finish is somewhat unpleasant. Tasting notes from 8/2014.

Aroma: grain, bread. Appearance: clear gold, medium, frothy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: malty sweets coming up, yet remains mainly bitter. Overall: boring Pale Lager, but does its job in the hot Vietnamese weather. Bottle from random corner shop, HCMC.

330ml can in hoi an. Pours clear light yellow with small white foamy head. Aroma is metallic and corny. Taste is tart with a little barley but bearable when very cold. Some of the other lagers in Vietnam are better.

Aromat dłodki, słodowy, dość nieprzyjemny. Wysoko nasycone. W smaku ma taką odpuchającą stęchłą nutę. Ogolnie chyba nieco niższy poziom niż pozostałe Wietnamskie lagery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I tried eight different beers on my recent one-month trip to Vietnam, with my two favorites being 333 and Saigon Export. Why? Because those two had 5.4% ABV, offering a little more body and flavor than the otherwise gang of tepid, adjunct gang of Vietnamese water lagers.

Beer for drinking, not tasting. Microbiologicaly clean and wonderful for digestion unlike say Leffe. Never seems to cause a bad hangover. Magically healthy beer for drinking every day. Its not interesting like Sarah Hughes Ruby Mild and it doesn’t change flavours in your mouth 5 times like eating a Durian fruit, its just beer for drinking. It makes me happy ! Its for consumption not for pretentious connoisseuers. Beer has many uses and most main brewers are using funky nasty high-throughput yeasts and this one is still safe and yummy.

Goutée au vietnam. Lager de base. Nez très léger. Corp très léger, petite note houblonnée mais aussi mettalique.
