bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Malty and quite hoppy. Slightly fruity. Malty start and middle part, rather hoppy towards the finish. Nice bitter-sweet contrast. Very nice.

Bottle (thanks to the Lake of Constance!): Golden, a bit unclear, stable lacy bleached head; grainy, slightly bisquity nose with a distinctive bitter hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering hoppy and fruity-bisquity finish. Good session brew....

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet, bready malty aroma with a good dash of herbal and slightly nettle-like hops. Moderately bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a well-matured mouthfeel. Balanced malty and hoppy taste with bready and slightly chalky notes; quite dry and hoppy finish. Likeable Märzen (14.V.09).

Bottled. Light malty and light herbal aroma. Hazy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Light grainy, herbal, very bitter, dry and flat.
