COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Weizenbier ist ein obergäriges Bier(d.h. die Hefe schwimmt beim Gärprozess oben). Anders als helles und dunkles Bier wird Weizenbier nur 3 Tage mit Hefe versetzt bei 7°C gelagert, bevor es auch 3 Wochen bei 3°C gärt.

Draught at the Bräuhaus
Strangely it has a cloudy amber color. The aroma and flavor show some wheat, some light spices, and in general it’s a soft, mellow version of Hefeweizen, with light fruitiness (banana), getting maybe a bit drier and spiced at the end. No bitterness. Easy.

Murky medium to dark amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel, wheat, moderate yeasty, banana, clove. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100927]

Tap at brewery. Sweet banana, orange, clove and wheat malt. Cloudy orange-amber color with giant white fluffy white head. Slightly sweet banana, orange, clove and wheat malt flavor - superb. Nice body. An excellent weizen.
