Belin... a bira au baxeicò!!!! Peccato che dopo 4 sorsi comincia a stufare seriamente; è soprattutto il sapore il problema, ricorda un po’ quelle patatine Autentica Trattoria pomodoro e basilico, solo che liquida e fredda fa un po’ impressione. Si poteva far meglio.

Bottle from the Brewpub. Hazy amber beer, good sized off white head. Light frothy palate, semi dry. Minerals. Pleasant fruity Basils dominates a little orangey hop. Some creamy malt and minerals finish things up. Inventive and decent.

Bevuta al Bicu di Genova, non male come me l’avevano descritta, ma a risultare buona ce ne passa.

Bottle. Light and thin beer, some more body would have been a better vehicle for the spices. Some sweet basil, a little yeast.

Draught at Bicu, Savignano sul Rubicone (FC)
Cloudy blond color. The aroma is delicate, spicy, some pepper. Dry mouthfeel, the flavor is generic and simple like the Hellen, but there is additionally a light basil touch to make it more pleasant. Correct bitterness.

On tap. RBESG Rome 2010. Hazy golden with a small off-white head. Distinctly spicy nose - not sure if it comes from the beer itself or from the floating basil leaf, they added to my glass. Rather light-bodied, lightly sweet fruit and a little caramel and again a whiff of spices and yeast. Very subdued bitterness. Apparently the name means "created by God" in Greek. Well then. 020610

Servita con una foglia di basilico in cima alla schiuma. Al primo assaggio è sicuramente originale, ma poi diventa subito stancante e stucchevole, a causa di una gasatura molto tenue e un sapore di basilico non in armonia con le altre componenti... da riprovare in futuro.

Alc. 4.0%. Murky medium grey amber orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate yeasty, herbs, basilicum notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, caramel, spicy, basilicum. yeasty. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100606]

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is spiced and slight phenolic. Spiced and caramelish flavoured. Medium dry malty and subdued bitterness. Lingering basil spiced note into the finish.

Hmm still on in October... wish the autumn/winter seasonal was on but this was an interesting experience anyway I guess. Poured an almost opaque dark orange body. Small off white head that went away at a relatively fast pace. Oh look there’s a leaf in there. Dusty yet fresh nose with obvious notes of basil. Light sweetish minty taste that ends al bit dry. Fresh, almost refreshing, but fails to impress.
