Clear copper color, small off-white head. Light bready and caramelly nose. Medium-bodied. Toffeish, malty beer with low carbonation. Not too bad this one either.

Buona ma nulla di che. presentabile, buon aroma caramelloso , come il sapore ma in nessuno dei due casi intenso o complesso, un po acquosa . Tutto sommato godibile birra!!!

Bottle from the brewpub. Cloudy amber beer, short lived white head. Light palate, fine carbonation, dry. Toffee malt, unsweet. Minerals. Trace of dried fruits before the very dry finish. Not terrible but too dry and too malt dominated.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and bread, as well as lighter notes of spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices and malt, as well as light notes of yeast, and caramel, leading to a dry and spicy finish.

Gold color. Moderate toffee aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, light malt and toffee flavor; correct bitterness. Again, correctly brewed, but nothing special.

On tap. RBESG Rome 2010. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Sweet caramel dominates the nose. Quite full-bodied, plenty of caramel malt - and nothing much more really. The brewery claims this to be "heavily hopped", well, I don’t really think so. Quite some alcohol in the finish though. Pretty much appears like a strongers version of their Amber Ale. 020610

Draught at the brewpub.
Poured a murky amber-red body. Very light dry malty nose. Sweaty dry malty taste with some hop bitterness near the end. A bit soapy. Ok but not too special.
