Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Bov. Appearance: It pours very dark beer with ruby reflects. Beautiful creamy, nicely lasting beige head. Good lacework. Aroma: Simply amazing at first- very strong yet subtle, deeply complex with vanilla, candy and dark chocolate emerging. As I dug deeper sage, wonderful coffee, mint, ginger and candied apricot showed up- mindblowingly inviting. Flavor and palate: Extremely smooth. Perfectly balanced. Complex. Faintly salty. Dark chocolate, coffee, ginger, apricot, vanilla, sage, basil and mint showing up. An excellent blend of components introducing a finish which is absolutely great: Long, slightly salty, mainly cocholatey, making me desperately eager to start and revel about wonderful things in life. Overall impression: A fantastic brew. One of the best swiss beers I have had up to now. Thanks a million Bov!

from the shop ’A la Campagne’, Bassecourt - black coloured with a long lasting dark beige foam; gently roasted nose with notes of vanilla and pralines; medium-bodied, some sweetness, tart and dry, slightly bitter; long chocolatey finish with notes of licorice - very good
