BeerLimey (2135) - USA - JUN 5, 2002
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2003 It says malted barley, water and hops on the back of the bottle but there's no reference to the Reihneitsgebot. The paleness of the color as well as the aroma make me think there's also corn in there. Impressed by the fizziness and foam but pretty flavorless. A little sweet malt and grainy dryness plays perfectly alongside an accompanying sourness, especially in the aftertaste. As far as cheap south of the States beers go this is pretty much middle of the road. I have to wonder why importers constantly bring this in. Is it to rival Budweiser or Corona? Or is it just so that beer geeks like myself can cross another country of our lists.

Aurelius (3143) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2005
Functional label, brown bottle, clear slightly dark gold, rafting crepe head. Some sweetish honey flavors, light tang, light astringency. No bittering to speak of. Loses carbonation rapidly. Clean bland finish which is only mildly malty. Slight pickle and vanilla in both the flavor and aroma.

Yellow color with a bubbly head. Skunk. Also smells and tastes like rotting corn. Go back to Ecuador!
