Bottle from their stall on the fair by the Siebensterngasse. Pale golden body. Nice, soft, slightly waxy and tart honey aroma battered by alcohol. Sweet soft honey taste, soft, nice, full, slightly peppery, spicy with some alcohol burn. Shitload of honey in here, yay! Lacks the class of Polish meads, but this is damn good for an Austrian one. Deserves more 3.6, but the alcohol punch in the nose knocks it down a notch. Still the best Austrian mead I’ve tried.

Bottle, 13.2%. Waxy aroma with a rough alcohol note. Clear pale yellow colour. The flavour is nicely sweet. Good spicy notes and a nicely syrupy mouthfel.

50 cl bottle. Pours pale yellow with no head. Aroma is mild fruity and honey herbal. Sweet, fruity and honey herbal. Lingering fruity and slight citrusy honey herbal. Sweet and fruity finish.
