Small to medium off-white head; listlessly carbonated coppery-orange beer; end of bottle fully opaque. Dry spicy nose, with white candi sugar, and faint orangey aroma. Dry flavours, with just some backthroat sweetness. Fleetingly a lightly smoked impression, toast and spiced orangepeel. More carbonated MF than visual; dry to medium dry; medium bodied at best; slightly viscous impression. Easily drinkable for a 7% tripel. Agreable, but nowhere exciting. Many thanks to Stef!

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 diabel (1584) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - SEP 7, 2009
Bottle Hazy yellow to orange body. Off-white, creamy/fizzy head which diminishes fastly. Aroma of oranges, hops, white grapes, flowers, liquor, even bit alcohol, porc (meat in general): you see it has an aroma with a lot of aspects (still, I wouldn’t call the aroma complex). Lightly bitter, moderately sweet flavour which is not as interesting aroma.

Hazy goldblond coloured beer with small white head and no carbonation visible. Malty fruity fresh aroma. Full bit creamy sparkling palate. Finish is roasted herby (bit like a smoke beer).
