Bov (7354) - Bienne, - APR 4, 2005
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2010 re-rated 4/2010, from bierhütte.ch - pours a pale and clear golden colour under a little but persistent foam; a gentle aromatic hoppiness with light notes of peanuts and metal; medium-bodied and a rounded palate; a fair bitterness and a quite long grassy and slightly peppery finish - too bad the nose is that weak, else it would be quite a nice beer

4/2005 - clear pale golden colour, big foam with big bubbles and a nice lacing, notes of solvant and wort, medium-bodied, some sweetness, dry and agressiv finish with a touch of sulphur - very forgettable (2/3/4/2/6)

Koelschtrinker (7038) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2011

From tap at Steinfels. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is crisp grassy hoppy. Light cornish malt flavour with a mild citrusy hops bitterness. Dry grassy and bitter dry finish.

Bottle from Allen, thanks! Pale blonde. Malty biscuity aroma with vanilla. Almost medium bodied. Grassy citrus hopbitter flavor with bitter walnuts and vanilla. Tasty lager with a soft metallic aftertaste.

Bottle (Danke an Julian!): Golden, a bit unclear, slowly collapsing small white head; grainy-fruity nose with some hops and cardboard in the background; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; unfortunately cardboard again in the light bitter-sweet finish. Unharmonic brew......

Allen (2469) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 29, 2008
Bottled 33cl. After sampling beers from raben brau, this is really mediocre. Lime, honey and plastic in both flavor and aroma. Decent bitterness in the taste - rather high for a swiss helles. Grainy. Medium bodied. Marzipan sneaking in. Lime and honey in the finish which is rather dry.

Zurich, 07. Pours pale gold, with little head. A very light hoppiness, otherwise nothing of interest here.

Pale blond color. Very strange, undistinguishable aroma, not without some plastic (and very light hop). Simple taste, quite high bitterness, not very aromatic.
