COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A CERVEJARIA BIERBAUM é a 1ª micro-cervejaria do oeste catarinense, utilizando o conceito europeu de se produzir cervejas artesanais e diferenciadas, em ambientes em que o público possa visualizar o processo de fabricação. A idéia do projeto surgiu em 1995 quando a família Bierbaum acostumada com as micro-cervejarias da Áustria, decidiram implantar um empreendimento com as mesmas características na cidade de Treze Tílias. A idéia foi tomando forma, e no dia 23 de abril de 2004, foi inaugurada a Bierbaum Cervejaria, em anexo ao Restaurante Edelweiss, que serve o chopp Bierbaum. A Cervejaria leva o sobrenome da família BIERBAUM, que traduzido para o português significa “árvore de cerveja”. Ceverja Escura e Forte Bock: cerveja de alta fermentação composta por malte de cevada importada, lúpulo em proporção balanceada, de cor escura e amargor médio e de alto teor alcoólico.

Aroma medium intense. Sweet malts , some chocolate . Toasty malts. Clean.
Appearance
Top: large creamy cap with rings on glass.
Base: brown.
Palate : easy going , good approach. Full bodied with lighter carbonation.
Taste: nutty, toasty , even hint of smoke. Slight peppery oxidation.
Other notes: smoky darker bock. Decent body and approach. Nice.

Pours dark red colour with an off-white head. Aroma is quite malty, caramel with lights notes of bread, fruit and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet with a light bitterness in the finish. Pretty good.

very nice bock, dark brown in colour. in the mouth it is malty, woody, strong, chocolate. good drinkabilty.
