Commercial Description:
Once, the legend goes, insulted by the stubbornness of its inhabitants, Emperor Charles let all the beer from the inns of Bierbeek be thrown into the Molendaal River. That's how the town of Bierbeek got its name. 500 years later you ar now drinking a Bierbeekse, a golden blond living beer with a secnd fermentation in the bottle. Cheers!

Light amber coloured beer with a lot of carbonation and a huge white head. Grainy and malty aroma with some yeasty and alcoholic touches. Full palate, some sprankling. Finish is light bitter, sweet alcoholic. Nice.

(Bottle 33 cl) The local brand in Bierbeek, a cozy village and a fine base for beerhunting in Belgium. <br /> Slightly hazy amber with a handsome, creamy head. Very distinct yeasty nose. Flavour dominated by plain pilsener malt and yeast with a somewhat unpleasant underlying tartness. 291205
