Bottle: Poured a golden amber with lots of carbonation haze. Fast acting bubbly white head. The aroma is orange and metallic spice. Nice yeasty flavor with a orange bite to it.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 yngwie (8717) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 6, 2007
Bottle. (Brasserie Artevelde according to the label) Clear, pale golden and a white head. Fruity nose, with some spices, alcohol and hay. Hay and grain starts the flavor, and is followed by sweetness and fruityness. Warming, medium to full body, finishing with sweeness, spices, alcohol and malt. The beer gave me the impression that it wanted to be a Duvel, but it didn’t rock my world in the same way. (070427)
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 beerbuzzmontreal (3413) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 12, 2007
Pours a cloudy golden color with floating chunks that almost look like snowflakes, the head is medium but diminishing and has an offwhite color. Decent aroma of orange and yeast. The flavor is ok, orange and yeast are present and to a point pleasant but it’s plainly simple. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and expansive carbonation. Another average product from this average brewery.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (6707) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 29, 2007
A hazy blonde ale with a thick white head. A very pleasant orange peels, bubbelgum and cream aroma, very smooth and appeasing. In mouth, smooth and pleasaing, with candy sugar, good banana malt and cloves, light oranges, and warming alcohol in final. Bieropholie imports.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Beltramelli (471) - Campinas, BRAZIL - MAR 28, 2007
Very similar to Delirium Tremens. Coloration muddy orange, with small particles that do not confuse the degustation. Beige cream clearly, which is little persistent. In the palate, intense of nuts, banana, spices e (at last) I obtained to feel dates. Sufficiently present alcohol, perhaps a little extreme, however without compromising the set. Excellent beer.............................................. Excelente cerveja.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Glouglouburp (4566) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 3, 2007
Cloudy blonde body with a lot of small particles. Typical Belgian blonde nose : coriander, pineapples, etc. Taste was lemony and other citrus fruits, somewhat sweet, nice tartness. Body felt pleasantly dry and floury. Alcohol felt more like 7.5% than 9.4%. Would feel at home among classic blonde triples (Fin du Monde, St-Feuillein, etc.). This is a strong but refreshing beer. I’m surprised to see all those so-so ratings, I guess people only like pirates in movies.
