Bierkrug (2132) - - FEB 11, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 18, 2012 600 ml strange bottle in Dakar, Senegal. Oh my what did I find here. pours an almost white clear color with a slight and I mean very slight yellow tint. Aroma is a a cross of burning rubber and old compost. Taste is a little better but not by much. Old plant matter some out of place chemicals. Palate is a bit offnsive. For all of you that gave this beer a nice rating just because you fell sorry from where it hails shame on you. This is one of the worst beers I have ever had.

Clear golden pour with an ok white head. Some lacing on the glass. Decent pilsner malty aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Pilsner malty and herbal flavor. Decent ok pale lager. Lucky that I got a brown bottle!

Bottle. Thanks, BLADT! Brilliant gold with a small white head. Sparkling apple juice appearance. Nose of tart apples. Some cereal and general piss. Mildly skunky. Taste is very much in line with other African lagers. Skunky, cereal and artificial apples. Pretty fizzy. Tired paper. Light body.

.33 cl. bottle. Thanks Marko! Pours a clear gold with a nice white head. Mild aroma and taste of malt and grain (corn). No skunk or metal, so not too bad. Typical.

Butelka 0,33l pite w Senegalu w 2013r. Kolor jasnosłomkowy, piana znikoma. Zapach lekkie cytrusy. Smak kwaśny, trochę ścierki w tle. Typowe piwo z tego regionu. Słabe ale inne w tym regionie też podłe.

Kolor - żółty, klarowny. Piana - drobna, średnio wysoka i średnio trwała. Zapach - delikatny słodowy. Smak - lekki słód, lekki chmiel, lekka słodycz i goryczka. Tylko do gaszenia pragnienia.

Very big thanks to kevnic2008 for that one! Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Moldy aroma. Starts mild, malty, moldy, some soapy notes. More and more breadish-sourish. Finish still moldy.

Pours a very pale yellow color with lots of carbonation. Topped with a fairly decent and quickly settling white head. Sweet malts in the nose, some fruity and grainy notes. Taste is sweet, not too much, slightly watery with some little bitterness in the finish. Slight metallic aftertaste. Nothing special, drinkable - had some much worse before.
