Schlecht, schlecht, schlecht! 11/3/5/3/5/3

Thanks travlr! Pee yellow with vivacious carbonation and a thin white head. Old stale bread, old vegetables, rotten green beans, and corn like adjunct abound. Thin palate, medium carbonation. Really bad

480mL thanks to Travlr. Pours clear pale straw with large carbonation. Generates a small, fizzy white head. A little overcarbonated. Nose is old candy, nothing too bad. Expired lemon drops. Sticky old sugar. Taste is cardboard, extremely bland, old bread and chick peas. Very vegetal and papery with frozen green vegetables and some esophagus burning higher alcohols. Not very refreshing. Tough to drink- even marooned in the Niger desert, it would be tough for me to suck this down.

48cl Bottle at the Wasana’s Winter Beer Tasting 2012! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH, BIERKRUG. Grrrr
The beer in the glass is very pale yellow and has no head. A german Pils, mixed 50:50 with water has a richer color. The smell is disgusting and perverted. It smells like rotting fruit, mold, vomit, stale cereal. It starts up slightly better. Slightly musty-hoppy and grainy. The finish is again like the smell, very disgusting, rotten food from the trash and vomit. So far, the worst beer of my life! Thanks again BIERKRUG for this "experience", hehe! (2 Points Overall for this very nice label)

Bottle at First German Ratebeer gathering at Idar Oberstein courtesy of Bierkrug. Barley malt and rubber band aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Decent sweet barley malt initially but has a burnt rubber finish. Drinkable but only just.

480 ml bottle at the first German local RateBeer tasting at Wasaba in Idar-Oberstein. Courtesy of Bierkrug - thanks! Outstanding label gives this one an extra point for appearance. Pale yellow. Aroma of rubber. Taste of sweetened cardboard. Oh well.

Thanks Bierkrug. This was pretty harsh stuff. It has an aftertaste that is hard to explain. Not something that I want to have again.
