3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - APR 6, 2011
Courtesy of Philippe (Bov); bb January 2011 (too late) Cloudy deep blond color; huge head, sign of excessive fermentation. The aroma is refreshing, flowery, delicate. The mouthfeel, as expected, is excessively carbonated, but behind it there is a reasonably good malt flavor, light sweetness, very light elderflowers and star anise.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Allen (2469) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 4, 2009
Bottled 33cl. Appearance: It pours a murky orange beer with a nice head. Aroma: Very pleasant. Elderflower, hops and grapefruit appearing with hints of soy sauce. It reminds me a bit of Caulier Bon Secours. A lot better though. Pretty good. Flavor and palate: Very pleasant. The finish is surprisingly salty with hints of licorice. Overall impression: A beer I would drink on a regular basis. Thanks Bov!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bov (7354) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 3, 2008
courtesy of Pascal Sauser - cloudy dark orange colour and a solid, firm and persistent foam; quite unclean nose with notes of dust and dry elder; the sweetness is balanced by some acidity and a high carbonation bringing some tartness; juicy palate with a decent malt body; the finish is quite dry with lovely notes of elders - another fine work from this brewery
