3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 maupie (908) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2010
After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a flaky thick amber color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppy bitter with a banana touch. This beer smells light citrusly.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sebletitje (4391) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUL 2, 2010
bottle @ the brewery.
pours cloudy orange/golden, white head.
aroma, musty yeast, some citrus hops and roasted malts, esters and fruits.
flavors, roasted malts, grainy; wheat high-med carbonation, grassy, palate keeps a Hefe approach with some banana and cloying spices.
Medium body, yeast and grains make this a filling beer.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 3, 2005
Bottled. Muddy pale orange. Aroma of citrus and papery malt. Medium sweet with soft, pleasant mouthfeel. Citric, refreshing and a tad unusual.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rastacouere (5919) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 14, 2004
Unbelievably cloudy opaque dirty milky yellow. Aroma is light, dusty with mild spice (ginger). Very yeasty palate developping flavors approaching cement, chalk, dust, nature yogurt. Weird spices that, from my perspective, don’t marry with that stall yeast all too well. Overcarbonation doesn’t help. I expected more frankly.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MartinT (6340) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 14, 2004
Heavily-sedimented yet uneventful lemony pillows, a distant cousin to Fantôme...Creamy feel and fluffy carbonation topped by dry orange zest...Like a lifeless interpretation of the Fantôme lineage...Now with green bottle and EZ-Open, ringed soft-drink cap!! (ugh)...
