Keg at Bierhalle, Warsaw. Clear nut brown, smal head. Hazelnuts and toast up front. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and hazelnuts lead the way to a mildly bitter finish.

ElDesmadre (3078) - Mikołów, POLAND - DEC 28, 2015
Draught at the Katowice outlet. Light toasted grain, breadcrust, raisins, some green apple. Light sweet, medium full, medium bitter. Gets a bit chocolatey in the finish. Tasty despite the acetaldehyde.

Brown colour with an off white head. Mild caramel aroma. Moderate sweet caramel flavour. Mild bitterness. Ok, but a very average normal polish dunkel.

Quack-Duck (9120) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2011
draught at Bierhalle Warszawa Arkadia. Brown colour, mid-sized off-white to beige head. Aroma of caramel. Medium-bodied, malty with hints of chocolate and caramel, shy hoppy finish. Smooth and velvety palate.

Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - SEP 26, 2010
UPDATED: SEP 27, 2010 Another quite good beer by Bierhalle (Lodz location). The aroma has herbs and flowers with a sticky spiciness in the nostrils. The flavor is nice, sweet but not overly so unlike SOOOOO many Polish dunkels - in fact my bottled version (original 3.4 was draft) is almost where you could call it "dry." Bread flavors. Easy to drink. Great palate, carbonation, freshness.
