COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The sister of Bièropholie IPA. The Bièropholie IPA, Golding and Cascade are the same beer. Only the hops are changed.

The first batch was made in March 2004 at Express-Broue.

The second batch was made in April 2005 at the brewery Le Chaudron.

The third batch (V.3) was made in mid-December 2005 and bottled end of February... Because of a very bad producing procedure, It was not autorised for sale by Bièropholie but was sold anyway by the contract brewery.

Deep amber with a thick off white head. Very smooth hops aroma....i mena very smooth. Everything with grace in the resinous overlays. Good attack of malts followed by restrained hops going all the way to post taste. Balance is the key word here...a good offering from René!

Orange, pine floral hop aroma with underlying maltiness. Very clear amber colour with large, pillowy white head that lasts nicely and recedes with nice lacing. Strong bitterness with pine-like hop flavour and nice balancing sweet malt. Smooth mouthfeel and medium body. This is an excellently balanced English style IPA and is very enjoyable. Bottle.

Nice amber color with a thick head. Medium carbonation. Aroma of citrus and maybe pine, no hops aroma. Assertive hops flavor with citrus. Strong and lasting bitter finish. Dry palate. Very surprising beer and a very interesting experience akin to Shipyard’s Fuggles IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2004 Light clear copper with a heavy carbonation. Long-lasting off-white head, initially very big and foamy. Orange zest and mild pine aroma can be smelled from a foot as long as it’s warm enough. The palate is very dry from the beginning until the end. Comfortable mouthfeel, silky with moderately high carbonation. Saw dust, light orange and sprucey notes come from the hops. Not too complex, but it was not intended to be. It’s a good helper in golding hop rediscovery. Solid once again, but perhaps a bit thin. I don't doubt that fans of english IPAs would enjoy this a lot more than me though!
