COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The sister of Bièropholie IPA. The Bièropholie IPA, Golding and Cascade are the same beer. Only the hops are changed.

The first batch was made in March 2004 at Express-Broue.

The second batch was made in April 2005 at the brewery Le Chaudron.

The third batch (V.3) was made in mid-December 2005 and bottled end of February... Because of a very bad producing procedure, It was not autorised for sale by Bièropholie but was sold anyway by the contract brewery.

Hazy red-amber to auburn; dense, very creamy, collapsing yellow-amber head. Cookies, gingerbread, tobacco and bittering hops, greenery-filled cake. Outspoken hops taste, with tons of cakey-like malts behing. Very resiny hopstaste. American hops would give cleaner, more citrussy flavours; this is more earthy and especially resiny. Tobacco too, again. Adstringent without bitterness being overpowering, but very long-lasting. Fiery MF, very well-bodied. Nice, cake-like. The humulus lupulus equivalent of space-cake? Merci Lubière!

Vieille bouteille provenant de la brasserie. Doit avoir un an... Très long arrière-goût. Le corps est généreux. Très bien balancée. J’aime beaucoup cette bière.

Thanks to tiggmtl for this. Pours hazy deep copper with huge, off-white head. Aroma of corn flakes, hops, floral esters, some black pepper. Smooth, complex, fairly dense mouthfeel.

bottle...clear amber pour with a rocky tan head. Floral hop aroma, some barnyard aroma also...very pleasant. Fruity, bitter, a little caramelly in the middle. This is quite enjoyable. Just a hint of that barnyard that I smelled, and the intrigue of that is inviting. This is a well done brew.

Amber with impressively generous white head. Grapefruit bitterness, floral hops, caramel, and something else on which I can’t put my finger on. Very complex and delightful.

Bottle pours amber, large off-white foamy head, web like lacing, with very active carbonation.   Aroma is of tea leaves and tobacco.   Very interesting.   Forwardly vegetable like, tobacco and tea, with only a soft hop bite.   Good body, with a medium mouthfeel.   FInishes with a bit more tobacco and tea.   The IPA is there, its just very soft.   Interesting...   Thanks goes out to radiomgb for the trade!

Bottle... Hazy, copper ale with a large, creamy, off-white head. The aroma and flavor are all about caramel, malt, honey, citrus rind and iced tea (goldings). Very generously bittered for preservation and balance. Medium-bodied and astringent. Lingering, bitter, dry finish. Well done!

Superb cloudy copper body topped with a thick and lasting off-white foamy head. Pleasant hoppy (Golding, of course...) aroma with flowery, herbal, roasty, and malty notes. Strong hoppy taste that unfortunately lacks complexity since the hoppy flavors are too dominant. Its long and bitter finish is lovely. Another wonderful beer from Bièropholie.
