french tickler (555), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Jul 17, 2007 Cloudy murky dark amber poor with a thin beige head and good lacing. WOW! Aromas are super hoppy... Caramelised malts, alcohol, ginger, pepper... Very explosive! Very nice creamy bitter feel to this beer... starts realy strong then fades slightly and is long lasting. Lightly sweetened twist. Added flavors of figs. Very complexe aromas and flavors... 2005 brew... just WOW!

Odeur dépices, sucre brun et rubarbe. Gout de blé, sucre, petit gout dépices. elihapa (464), Hawaii, USA Nov 27, 2008 Bieropholie Golding India Pale Ale 11/26/08 (bottle, from Simon Anthony. Pours brown with red tinges and a nice creamy head. Crisp palate with pearly carbonation, and a smooth finish. Flavor is buttery soft, with a softly floral front-palate, followed by unusual but no less delicious flavors of tea, tangerine, and ripe green grapes. All flavors add up to a subtly sweet flavor that was well balanced and appropriately complex. This is a delicate IPA, and in my opinion a bit of a hybrid between English and American versions. Definitely worth trying! Cletus (3614), Connecticut, USA Sep 8, 2008 Bottle courtesy of glouglouburp. Pours brown with a thin white head. Smells of fruit, dough, earthy. Tastes of caramel, tea, touches of earthiness, a hint of pepper. Decent. robinvboyer (1080), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Aug 17, 2008 very dark looking IPA, looks like an irish red, or a very dark amber. Nice beige head. Aroma is some nice hops, not smelling much goldings though. Some good malt, and and biscuit aroma, and a touch of cherry? Flavour is Bitter, and hoppy, there is a touch of the bitter goldings in the flavour, but all in all, not as hop forward as i would expect in an IPA, but it’s nicely balanced, and a good beer.
