Bottle I think from Rastacouer. Pours a deep dark brown/black with no head at all. This was a treat as man was this bitter with the flavor of molasss and bitter chocolate. Very nice on the tongue with a long linger flavorful bitterness on the taste buds.

Small dark brown head of coarse lace. Utterly opaque pitch black body. Massively sweet hickory chocolate aroma with notes of milky caramel and alcohol. Burnt toast taste with dry burnt chocolate aftertaste. Notes of wild berries. Smoothish. Sooty taste lingers. Lovely aroma, but taste is maybe somewhat lacking in complexity. Still a great beer. Ɛ.34l bottle. 2005 vintage.)

2005 vintage, 0.341l bottle courtesy of Sasquatch911 (thanks Francois!), and shared with ozujsko.
Black, completely black beer with a tiny brown head. Impressive. The nose is pure instant coffee, some chocolate, and some chicory. The taste.... well.... it’s spot on on a kind of coffee substitute made from chicory (Divka or Bianka brands), and it’s quite good. Black, bitter chocolate. Roasty. Some very weak acidity, and maaaaybe just a touch of hops. Heavy, thick body. Great stuff. My first Imperial Stout, and I feel that this has every right to be called that.

2005 bottle from trade with Rastacouere - thanks. This dark brown ale poured with a medium brown head, eliciting an aroma of alcohol, malt and chocolate. The flavor is bitter chocolate, with a long chalky finish. The body is quite heavy with a slightly carbonated mouthfeel. The chocolate flavor becomes very large and pleasant as the beer warms to room temperature.

2005 - Very promising aroma coming out, just when the bottle is opened. Completely black body, dark brown big bubbled head; Very big, very deep, complex and very pleasant nose to the sweet side, great mix of a lot of different things from salty soy sauce to very soft milk chocolate, in between this is bitter coffee, soft warm spices and mellow soft licorice; The body is pleasant too, though a bit neutral thin and watery textured, it is a bit to the salty bitter side; The bitterness grow in the finish, that as well is a bit thin in the texture and lacks length, it is a bit dry and has dry and a little roasted aromas: cocoa bean, coffee bean, a little fruit is hidden below. Thanks a lot to Radiomgb for bringing this over.

Bottle. Deep black color and thin brown head. Alcohol, roasted malt and fudge aroma. Taste of roasted malt, chocolate, good bitterness and alcohol finish. Nice imp stout. Bière de couleur noire opaque avec un mince collet brun. Odeur d’alcool, malt grillé et de fudge. Goût de malt grillé, de chocolat avec une bonne amertume et un fini alcool. Bonne stout imp.

12oz bottle 2005 vintage via trade with radiomgb! - Thanks Jeff! - Pours black with a nice mocha head that stays pretty well and laces some. Aroma of rich fudge, roasted malts, and a touch of coffee. Flavor is rich chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, caramel, a hint of dark fruits. Body is full for a beer that is 7.7% alcohol feels much bigger than it is. Palate is chewy like an oatmeal cookie. Lots of chocolate on the somewhat dry finish. Pretty nice impy
